Meet the ADD Nutrition Team

I started ADD Nutrition to help women reach their health and fitness goals shortly after I graduated. I have been coaching for nearly two years and helped transform hundreds of lives through a realistic approach to nutrition.

I graduated in 2019 with my Bachelors in Nutrition and Dietetics at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Ok, and completed 1,200 hours through the University of Oklahoma’s Dietetic Internship gaining experience in hospitals, sports settings, outpatient, weight loss clinics, pediatrics, and private practice dietetics. I became an RD in the summer of 2021 after passing the national boards exam.

In my spare time, I enjoy lifting weights and getting stronger, being outdoors with my fiancé, and spoiling my three weenie dogs.

I am passionate about helping women develop a healthy relationship with food, create a solid nutrition foundation, and reach their health/fitness goals. I use a client-centered and individualized approach that results in permanent lifestyle changes and finally ends the yo-yo dieting cycle.

BS in Nutrition and Dietetics

I was a stay-at-home mom for 5 years and decided I want to pursue a degree in nutrition. I have always had a passion for food and nutrition. So, it just made sense for my second career.  

BACKGROUND DESCRIPTION

I hold a bachelor’s in nutrition and Dietetics from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Ok. I also have two degrees in nutritional science from Tulsa Community College. My minor is in psychology, and I am a certified Life coach. I have completed a 1,200-hour internship through University of Oklahoma’s Dietetic program. My focus during the internship was community-based care/nutrition.

I am a mom of three beautiful children. I understand the busy life of a mom. I enjoy time with my children and friends. I love to dance and do anything outdoors. I love setting goals and smashing them. I am a foodie and love to cook. People and food are my passions.

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?

I started my health and wellness journey in 2015. I was 30 lbs overweight and extremely unhappy with my weight, looks, and overall habits. I was going to class one day and had to walk up 3 flights of stairs and had to take breaks because I felt like I was running a marathon! I decided then that I not only wanted to change, I NEEDED to. 

I got a gym membership that next day and went consistently for 6 months. I then realized that this was a LIFE CHANGER, so I changed my major to a health and fitness related field! I not only lost the 30 lbs I needed to, but became happier and healthier.

BACKGROUND DESCRIPTION

In my spare time I love to travel! My husband and I plan on visiting all 7 continents one day! We have a trip planned for Germany and we are so excited!  I also am a huge nerd- No really, I am. Anything from scary movies, Harry Potter, LOTR, Zombie Apocalypse, Halloween; and everything in between! 

PERSONAL DETAILS

I graduated in 2017 with my Bachelors Degree in Health and Human Performance with a Recreation emphasis. This allowed me to coach individuals of all fitness and health status. This gave me more hands-on experience with what I wanted to do forever! After I graduated I went straight for my Masters Degree in Health and Kinesiology! This degree allowed me to really pinpoint a direction I wanted to go! This would be educating and coaching everyday people on how to make lifestyle changes. I have 6+ years of coaching experience, hundreds of clients with positive results under my belt, and many more to go! 

I became a Coach for ADD Nutrition a little over 2-months ago and I am very happy to be a part of this team! Seeing clients bodies and mindset change in little as 1 WEEK has been such a rewarding experience!

I am very passionate about health and wellness. I am an avid believer that this lifestyle change can save lives. From personal experience, I know what it feels like to be uncomfortable in your own skin and wanting to make that change. I will not judge you or make you feel bad for your lifestyle choices. Instead, I will give my all to you and I will help guide you through the process and help you achieve your goals! 

My personal goal is to be happy and healthy at 80 years old! I want to be as self efficient as long as I possibly can! By starting NOW, I know I can help my clients achieve their goals as well!

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?

I’ve had a passion for food and cooking since I was little. I always knew that I wanted to be in a helping profession, and it is so rewarding to help individuals with their nutrition.

My goal is to get rid of the shame and guilt associated with dieting and empower my clients with tools and education to reach their goals without restriction. 


BACKGROUND DESCRIPTION

I received my bachelors in Nutritional Sciences from Oklahoma State University, and my Masters in Nutrition from the University of Central Oklahoma. I graduated my Masters with Honors and received the award of Intern of the Year. I've been a Registered Dietitian since 2019, and I have experience educating hundreds of patients at a large hospital in Tulsa, OK.

PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS

In my free time, I enjoy trying different local coffee shops (even better if they make homemade pastries), going to brunch with friends, and trying new recipes. My favorite form of intentional movement is a tie between a good power yoga class and pilates.

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?

I have struggled with understanding food all my life. That changed when I became a client of ADD Nutrition. They taught me how to understand my relationship with food and recognition of what I was eating. I now get to assist these phenomenal women, who help others focus on building healthy habits with sustainability! Learning how to live a healthier life has given me a new outlook, thanks to ADD Nutrition.

I received my bachelors in Operations Management & Human Resources from Marian University-Wisconsin, and my Masters in Operations Management & Supply Chain from University of Stout-Wisconsin.

In my free time, I enjoy walking outdoors, baking, and traveling. My long term goal is to visit each of the 50 states. I have recently started yoga and attend Reiki sessions to help balance life.

My interest in social media marketing sparked during my college internship and I was able to enhance my skills more when I worked for a big car company as their marketing specialist and in 2021, I’m very fortunate to be able to work as a Marketing and Social Media Manager for ADD Nutrition!

I received my bachelors in Business Administration major in Operations Management from University of St. La Salle in 2018.
